Meet Sanjana Chauhan

A passionate, mission-driven student from Amity International School, committed to uplifting marginalized communities through meaningful direct and indirect interventions. With a strong vision of systemic change, Sanjana is dedicated to building effective leadership through governance training, ensuring clarity and productivity via essential eye care services, and creating pathways toward brighter futures for underserved children within the juvenile justice system. As the co-founder of Taarini Trust India, Sanjana leads with compassion and innovation, championing sustainable solutions in education, governance, and healthcare to address critical societal challenges and empower those who need it most.

Our Core Programs

Drishti Initiative

Drishti is a community-driven eye care initiative focused on preventing avoidable blindness and improving visual health among marginalized groups, particularly artisans and underserved children. Through free eye screening camps, access to treatments, and distribution of corrective eyewear, Drishti restores not just vision but dignity and productivity. The program also raises awareness about preventive eye care, empowering individuals to take charge of their health and enabling them to participate fully in education, livelihoods, and community life.

SARAL

Sarpanch Advanced Resourceful Active Learning (Policy and Leadership for the Elected Representatives of Gram Panchayat)

The Mini-MBA for Sarpanchs is a grassroots leadership and governance training program designed to empower village leaders with practical knowledge in financial planning, policy implementation, and digital governance. Through interactive workshops, real-life case studies, and simplified modules, the program equips Sarpanchs with the tools needed to make informed decisions, manage village resources effectively, and drive sustainable local development. By strengthening the capacity of these frontline leaders, the Mini-MBA fosters accountable governance, citizen engagement, and inclusive economic growth at the panchayat level.
